The Redemptive Childbirth℠ Movement exists to restore what has been lost—to return birth to God’s hands, where peace, trust, and purpose replace anxiety and striving. The Role of the Doula in Redemptive Birth

In this movement, doulas are not merely support persons.

Introducing the Redemptive Childbirth℠ Doula Certification Program

The Nehemiah Birthing Project’s Doula Certification Program was created to prepare doulas who are both professionally competent and spiritually grounded.

This is not surface-level training.

Our certification integrates:

• Evidence-based childbirth education

• Hands-on physical support skills

• Interprofessional communication and advocacy

• Cultural humility and health equity

• Ethics, scope of practice, and professionalism

• A redemptive worldview that honors God’s design for birth

Students are taught not only what to do, but who they are becoming as birth workers.
